This session explores Southeast Asia's healthcare market, offering insights into demand, business culture, and buyer behavior, with input from a HealthTech executive. It also introduces U.S. Commercial Service and STEP support programs.

.

Compliance and international financing

Learn the key regulatory requirements for medical device registration in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, and understand legal considerations such as IP protection and contract management. This session also covers international financing tools including EXIM Bank services, payment methods, and strategies for managing currency and credit risk.

Preparation for the overseas market pitch / visit

The final module focuses on preparing companies for business engagements in Southeast Asia. Participants will refine their unique value proposition, gain insights into local business customs, and participate in a guided peer discussion to reflect on program takeaways and receive feedback on their pitch.

Step 2: One-on-one export coaching

Deep dive into your expansion plan

Each participant will receive a personalized two-hour consultation with export coach Sarath Menon, Orissa's CEO and a Southeast Asia market expert with decades of experience in international business development. During this session, companies will review their export strategy, refine their value proposition, and present a practice pitch. The coach will provide direct feedback and strategic guidance on optimizing both the market entry plan and customer pitch, helping businesses align their offerings with regional buyer expectations.

Step 3: Virtual pitch to Southeast Asian buyers

Make yourself seen

Select companies will be invited to showcase their innovations during a professionally organized virtual pitch session targeting hospitals, distributors, and investors across Southeast Asia. Hosted by Orissa International, with its deep regional networks and local offices, the event will be promoted via a dedicated landing page and supported by a robust database of 700+ medical distributors, 200+ hospitals, and 100+ venture firms.
